McDaid Dress Code

The following dress regulation apply to all students K-6. The purpose and intent of these regulations are to encourage modesty, neatness, order and unity appropriate for students of a Catholic School. All dress will be judged accordingly. The administration has the final decisioin on all questions.

BOYS:

Clothing items approved for all boys include:

  • Cotton twill pants or walking shorts in Navy or Khaki. Carpenter style, cargo style and pants or shorts that are excessively baggy are not permitted. Denim and corduroy are not permitted.
  • Short or long-sleeve polo shirts in White, Green or Burgundy. Hunter green polos from PTO sales are also permitted.
  • Plain cardigan sweaters in Green. Plain Hunter Green sweatshirts from PTO sales are also permitted.
  • Turtlenecks in White.

 GIRLS:

Clothing items approved for girls include:

  • Skirts or scooter skirts in Navy or Khaki.
  • Plain jumpers in Navy or Khaki.
  • Short or long-sleeve polo shirts in White, Green or Burgundy. Hunter Green polos from PTO sales are also permitted.
  • Plain cardigan sweaters in Green. Plain Hunter Green sweathshirts or sweatshirts fromm PTO sales are also permitted.
  • Turtlenecks in White.
