Description: This class will address the fundamentals of teaching students who are in the process of learning to speak, write, and understand the English language. The course topics will include: the stages of second language acquisition, the acquisition of social and academic language, correlating instruction with second-language acquisition, and effective instructional strategies and differentiating techniques.
A $300 stipend will be paid to ESU #16 teachers upon successful completion of the class through Title IIA Consortium funds.
Tuition fee: $484.05
