ARTISTS-IN-SCHOOLS/COMMUNITIES

The Artist in Schools/Communities Residency Program is a project of the Nebraska Arts Council and is funded directly by the Nebraska Legislature. The council coordinates artist residencies in the areas of visual arts, crafts, dance, drama, creative writing, photography and film-making, and music for schools wanting to supplement the regular curriculum. These enriching arts experiences present an opportunity for students of all ages to develop new avenues of individual expression. In each of these areas, one-week residencies are possible.
