DEVELOPMENT SERIES

 

YEAR 3:  COLLECTING, ANALYZING AND REPRESENTING DATA

 

 

This professional development series will:

              ¥ Explore the basics of data thinking, and the vocabulary/language of data

              ¥ Use visual and technology tools to collect and represent data

              ¥  Experience strategies and technologies to analyze and represent data

                 in multiple formats

              ¥ Incorporate instructional strategies and activities to help students

                understand the Data Analysis/Probability standards

 

             

Who May Apply?

              5th-12th grade Mathematics Teachers

              Special Education/Title Teachers

 

Institute Benefits:

              ¥  Meets the NSDC Standards for quality Professional Development

              ¥  Mathematics teaching resources of over $250

              ¥  Substitute fee of $100 per day

              ¥  Daily participant stipend of $140 per day (non-contract days)
