Today the Burlington Northern Railroad sends as many as four trains an hour through Seneca and that is about as exciting as life gets in this town of 60. Two out of every five residents in Seneca are over fifty while only one out of five are under twenty. This is not surprising considering the whole population totals at sixty. The population may be dwindling but the town is not dead.The McCawley House Bed and Breakfast McCawleys Bed and Breakfast, operated by Janel Finney, provides a small town getaway for travelers. While staying at the Bed and Breakfast, visitors can eat at the Cattleman's Restaurant, run by Larry and Nina Hardy. The Cattleman's Restaurant operated by Larry and Nina Hardy A Congregational Church and Post Office are located on Main Street. A local artist, Jackie Sevier, also has a gallery on the north side of town.
