I was born in Creston, Iowa, 1955. I graduated from Creston Community High School in 1974. I have two brothers and three sisters. I served as an active duty Army Captain from 1981 to 1992, including Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Germany, and Korea. I have a daughter, Erin Marie, she is 23 years old and a son, Richard Lee, who is 21 years old. I played college football for 4 years at Dana College in Blair, Nebraska. I taught high school history and government to more than 800 students between 1993 and 2003. I have also taught high school geography and phychology and college history for one year in 1992 to 1993. I have coached track and field and basketball for nine years, and was a head football coach for three years. I was a K-12 principal at Banner County School in Harrisberg, Nebraska from 2004 to 2007. And now I live at 206 N. Locust Street, in Brady, Nebraska.
