My name is Becky Simants. I have a MS in Education and and I recieved my BS in Education with a K-12 mild/ moderate degree in December of 1992 from the Universtity of Nebraska at Kearney. I taught for two years at Wood River High School and moved back to Gothenburg. I began teaching Special Education K-12 at Brady in August of 1998. I have recently recieved my MS in Education with Secondary School Counseling degree from the UNK in July of 2006. I currently teach 9-12 grade Special Education and I've been the Guidance Counselor for the past three year and I am also the sponser of the Junior class. I've been married for 18 years and we have been blessed with three children who attend Brady Public Schools also. We have a 9th grade son Jeffrey, 6th grade son Dalton, and a 3rd grade daughter Lexi. It's truely a honor to get to touch the hearts of so many many children. No one ever gets applauded for the mistakes they've made only the effort they exhibited to make the attempt.
