The Lariat Project

This year is a finishing year for the on-going Lariat project. It started two years ago as a shop project and developed into "more of a job" than expected. "It took courage to start a project this size," Mr. Hoesing commented. C Bullington, D Jackson, T Sevier, W Hardy, B Wright, T Crisp, T Wolfenden and K Cash are in the Industrial Technology class that is continuing to work on the project. Work in progress includes texturing, painting, and flooring. When asked about the project D Jackson said, "It's taking a long time and it feels like we are never going to get done--but it's really fun and Mr. Hoesing has been pretty laid-back. He's cool in my book."

We were able to have it completed in time for the Bronco Invite Wrestling Tournament, January 20th. In addition to a commons area for the public to eat, there is a new set of bathrooms. The existing bathrooms in the gym will later be made handicap accessible.
