The Mullen Public Schools has been established by this community for the purpose of developing efficient and responsible citizens for democratic living. To accomplish this purpose, the schools seek to provide those educational experiences that will assist each pupil to discover individual needs, interests, and abilities, and to better develop to the greatest individual potential. To achieve this implies that the student will acquire knowledge to develop skills, attitudes, interests, appreciations and insights which will enable him or her to live effectively in a democracy and to make a maximum contribution to the improvement of society.

New Curriculum for K-12 Math and Science

In spring of 2007, a group of dedicated teachers wrote curriculum for
K-12 Math and Science. This was done using a model developed by the
Curriculum Leadership Institute. These curriculum documents are in working form but patrons are welcome to view them as they continue to be developed.
